Bridget Pogodzinski, MS, LMFT

Areas of Interest Bridget works with individuals, couples, and families (ages 15 and older) struggling with a variety of mental health concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, stress management, emotional dysregulation, ADHD, OCD, relationship/marital conflict, relationship concerns, adjustment concerns, parenting, concerns regarding religion/faith/spirituality, safety concerns, grief and loss, and trauma, including PTSD.  Bridget works with clients using an eclectic approach, drawing from CBT, DBT, Narrative, Interpersonal, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused therapies amongst other therapeutic approaches. Philosophy Bridget views clients through a systemic lens, keeping in consideration the many relationships, systems, and experiences that have and continue to impact them and their sense of wellbeing.  Bridget has a passion to work with clients, couples,  and families from a place of deep empathy and with excitement to collaborate and learn more from them about their unique strengths, remind them of their resiliency, and participate in their continued growth.  She works with clients through a strengths-based and holistic approach, taking into consideration all of the many aspects of life that make us who we are.  Bridget enjoys walking with clients on their journeys through life, recognizing and emphasizing their unique strengths that will aid them in achieving the life, wellness, and fulfillment they desire within themselves and their relationships.  She desires to enhance the lives of clients by fostering hope and empowerment within themselves presently and for their futures. Education and Experience Bridget has been practicing therapy since 2020.  In 2019, she earned her BS in Family Social Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  She completed her MS program in Marriage and Family Therapy at Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin May 2021. Bridget has experience providing therapy to individuals, couples and families in outpatient, group, school, Telehealth and intensive outpatient group settings.  She also has experience working with clients through a Christian counseling lens and can incorporate this into clients’ therapy, if they desire.  Presentation experience in school settings on topics of mental health, social media, and self esteem. Personal Outside of the clinic, Bridget enjoys exercise, specifically hiking and running, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends, especially in nature. *Mrs. Pogodzinski treats patients 15 & older.

Julia Truog, MS, LPC-IT

Areas of Interest I create a client-centered, strengths-based environment, implementing an eclectic approach drawing from multiple counseling theories, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and solution-focused interventions. Areas of interest include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, women’s issues, and identity exploration.  I value working with and advocating for those who hold marginalized identities.  I am particularly passionate about working with those who are members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Areas of Interest Treatment of children, adolescents and their families with school related problems and at risk behavior. Life transition issues including career changes, school to work and divorce. Interest in depression, anxiety and woman’s concerns. Special interest in using the process of art making to enhance the therapy experience. Eva Wenzler, MA, LPC

Areas of Interest Therapy is both an opportunity for reducing and relieving suffering and for working toward thriving in our lives.  My goal is for clients of all ages to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of their whole selves and inherent worth as we work together to address their concerns.  My approach involves meeting clients where they are at and incorporating their strengths, values, and goals with evidence based and solution focused interventions.  My goal is to help clients gain insights and develop skills they can use in their daily lives. I enjoy working with a wide range of clients including children, adolescents, parents, and adults.  My experience includes a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing), and Mindfulness.  My approach blends these modalities with client needs to address areas related to anxiety, depression, grief and loss,  self-esteem, relationship issues, emotion dysregulation, perinatal mental health, women’s issues, trauma, ADHD, adjustment issues, life changes, OCD, and Bipolar Disorder.  I also have experience diagnosing and treating ADHD in children and adolescents. Grief Support Specialist Certificate, UW-Madison EMDR trained by the EMDR Institute Experience Over 15 years providing individual, family, and group therapy in an outpatient setting. Previous experience providing therapy in middle and high school setting, group work with incarcerated youth and adults, in-home behavior management with young children and parents, and individual and family therapy in a local nonprofit setting.  Additional experience working with youth and parents in a runaway, homeless youth shelter in Milwaukee. *Note: Eva works with clients ages 5 years and up.
