Areas of Interest

Assessment and treatment of children and adults with a solution-focused, strengths-based CBT approach for concerns of anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, couples therapy, family therapy/parent coaching, adoption/out of home care concerns, and men's issues

Focus on PTSD/trauma resolution with preferred treatment approaches of EMDR, positive psychology/resilience, narrative, and experiential (art, sand tray, outdoor challenge).

Jungian depth psychology, such as dream work, existential/spiritual approaches, creativity, leadership and eco-psychology.

Bachelors Degree in History and Theology, Minor in Psychology, Wisconsin Lutheran College, 2002

Jungian Psychotherapy Program, CG Jung Institute of Chicago, 2018

EMDR, TF-CBT, and Neuro-Sequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) trained.

 

Experience

Over 18 years of experience in individual, child and family practice, including outpatient, residential treatment, foster care, in-home family preservation, and corrections diversion settings.  Additional experience of program development, clinical supervision, EAP and critical incident debriefing, consultant for Our Space, and assistant professor at UW-Milwaukee.

 

Personal

Enjoys travel, hiking, outdoors/nature, history, mythology, and creative writing.
