Ryanne Wendt, MSW, LCSW
Areas of Interest Assessment and treatment of all ages in individual, family and group therapy. Eclectic integrative approach to therapy, drawing from CBT, trauma informed care, motivational interviewing, and interpersonal therapy. Special interests include trauma/PTSD, infertility/loss, perinatal concerns, parenting, grief and death, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, life stress, and adjustment issues. Supervisor of bachelors students, masters students, and in-training therapists. Philosophy I’m realistic- life is hard sometimes. It’s not always rainbows and butterflies. Nonetheless, I truly believe there can be beauty in life’s challenges too. Every challenge is an opportunity. Even in the hardest times, there’s an opportunity to be our authentic selves, learn new skills, and find connection with others. There’s even opportunity for a sarcastic joke or two! My therapy approach is collaborative and individualized to you. We will work together to identify problem areas and goals. I offer a wide range of therapies and will tailor treatment to match your preferences. It may be hard work, but my hope is that we can do good work. Healing is possible, though it may require you to shed a tear or two. You may even have to start believing in your own strengths and goodness too. Ryanne is also an adjunct lecturer at the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh in the Masters of Social Work program. Personal Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, including my beloved dog Leinie. I also read fiction novels nonstop, bake sourdough, and trying new resturants. **Ryanne is located in the Hartford office only. She sees clients ages 5 and up.
Eva Wenzler, MA, LPC
Areas of Interest Therapy is both an opportunity for reducing and relieving suffering and for working toward thriving in our lives. My goal is for clients of all ages to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of their whole selves and inherent worth as we work together to address their concerns. My approach involves meeting clients where they are at and incorporating their strengths, values, and goals with evidence based and solution focused interventions. My goal is to help clients gain insights and develop skills they can use in their daily lives. I enjoy working with a wide range of clients including children, adolescents, parents, and adults. My experience includes a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing), and Mindfulness. My approach blends these modalities with client needs to address areas related to anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem, relationship issues, emotion dysregulation, perinatal mental health, women’s issues, trauma, ADHD, adjustment issues, life changes, OCD, and Bipolar Disorder. I also have experience diagnosing and treating ADHD in children and adolescents. Education Masters in Counseling (Child/Adolescent track), Marquette University. Bachelors Degree in Psychology, University of Wisconsin-Madison. Grief Support Specialist Certificate, UW-Madison EMDR trained by the EMDR Institute Experience Over 15 years providing individual, family, and group therapy in an outpatient setting. Previous experience providing therapy in middle and high school setting, group work with incarcerated youth and adults, in-home behavior management with young children and parents, and individual and family therapy in a local nonprofit setting. Additional experience working with youth and parents in a runaway, homeless youth shelter in Milwaukee. *Note: Eva works with clients ages 5 years and up.
