Knowing You Are Not Alone
Group Therapy can be scary at first, but it can be powerfully effective in ways that can’t be accomplished with individual therapy. It is a way of meeting other clients that are struggling with the same issues. Working together and supporting each other is usually very positive and effective. Intensive Group Therapy is used to give clients the additional support they need to be successful early in their treatment. ACS offers the following types of groups:
- Adult Intensive Outpatient Group for Substance Abuse
- Adult Mental Health Group for Anxiety and Depression
- Addicted Family Members Group
- Adolescent Art Therapy Group
- Co-Dependency Group
- DBT Group
- Lifeskills Group
- Preteen/Teen Building Group
- Preteen/Teen Wellness Groups for Depression
- Substance Abuse Group
