Areas of Interest Therapy is both an opportunity for reducing and relieving suffering and for working toward thriving in our lives. My goal is for clients of all ages to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of their whole selves and inherent worth as we work together to address their concerns. My approach involves meeting clients where they are at and incorporating their strengths, values, and goals with evidence based and solution focused interventions. My goal is to help clients gain insights and develop skills they can use in their daily lives. I enjoy working with a wide range of clients including children, adolescents, parents, and adults. My experience includes a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing), and Mindfulness. My approach blends these modalities with client needs to address areas related to anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem, relationship issues, emotion dysregulation, perinatal mental health, women’s issues, trauma, ADHD, adjustment issues, life changes, OCD, and Bipolar Disorder. I also have experience diagnosing and treating ADHD in children and adolescents. Education Masters in Counseling (Child/Adolescent track), Marquette University.
