Philosophy
I am committed to creating safety and building relationships grounded in loving presence, curiosity, mutual respect, trust, and inclusive open mindedness that provides an opportunity to bring you whole, authentic self into the shared space: heart, mind, body, and spirit. I value an environment in which clients feel heard, validated, supported, and empowered as an active participant in their uniquely personal process of healing and growth. I believe that we are beings more complex than our individual biology with intimate, multidirectional interactions between our physical bodies, out thoughts and cognitions, our spiritual self, and our energetic bodies. I envision a kinder world, one in which every voice is respected and relationships are container for healing ourselves, our bonds to one another, and our inextricable kinship to the planet and all relations.

Experience
My first career as an EMT/critical care paramedic spanned 13 years and included work on a high-volume 911 service, roto wing emergency medical services, and trauma-center ER based paramedicine. Nursing became my second career and has given me diverse exposure to neonatal intensive care, primary care, pediatrics, internal medicine, behavioral health, neurology, urgent care, and emergency medicine. I share lived familiarity with first responders, healthcare providers, parents, and also as a peer with lived experience of homelessness, poverty, complex trauma, secondary/occupational trauma, disordered eating, and neurodivergence. Born and raised in Wisconsin within a rural agricultural community. I have spent over a year practicing in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico and Eugene, Oregon.
