Our  state-of-the-art 9,300 sq. ft. clinic with 20 clinical offices & 2 group rooms.

Our new facility

We have been in our new clinic since May of 2015. It was designed to maximize operational efficiency and to help families feel great about seeking the help. The location of the clinic in the center of town and design aesthetics were chosen to help decrease mental health stigma and narrow the treatment gap. Approximately 50% of individuals avoid seeking help because of stigma. It is our hope that the design of our building and the positive culture of our clinic can encourage others to feel good about seeking help.

New Location in Hartford

ACS is excited to announce we have renovated a new location in Hartford and have been open for operation since July 25, 2022.  The larger clinic allows us to offer new and expanded services to the community and be more visible to decrease the stigma of seeking mental health treatment.  We are offering more group therapies for teenagers and adults to treat anxiety, depression and trauma.  We will also be developing or expanding key research-proven treatment approaches that use play therapy with children, art therapy, eating disorder programming and movement-based therapies.  All of these efforts are designed to help make treatment more accessible, individualized, comprehensive, and effective.  Please call the clinic if you have any questions at (262) 673-0301.

Community InvolvementCommunity Involvement

ACS is involved in and cares about our surrounding communities. We know our neighbors and work side-by-side to make Washington County a better place for families. Many of our clinicians are involved in community non-profit organizations. We have been a Community Pace Setter for the United Way and have won Business of the Year by the West Bend Chamber of Commerce.

Our history

Affiliated Clinical Services, Inc. has been in business in Washington County since 1984. We have steadily grown to become the largest state-certified multi-specialty mental health and substance abuse treatment clinic in Washington County. We have earned the trust of the professional community (e.g., referring physicians) over the past 30 years and have a solid reputation of providing high-quality services.

The core of our management team has been with the business since the beginning. As a result, we know a lot about the business of outpatient mental health care and how it interfaces with the changing dynamics of the insurance industry. Our team is deeply dedicated to the mission of providing the very best care for families in Washington County. We really care about the families we meet, have very positive workplace morale and a low turnover.

Raj Kumar, MD and Jim Giese, Ph.D. are the current owners and have been with the company for over 16 years. They continue to be passionate about growing and adapting the clinic’s programs and operations to meet the on-going treatment needs of Washington County. There remains a significant treatment gap in available services. We have several key initiatives each year in an effort to expand and refine the services we offer.
