Areas of Interest

Working with children, adolescents, parents, and adults with issues related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, social skills, anger, and other life stressors.  Diagnose and treat ADHD for children and adolescents. Collaborative therapeutic approach incorporates client's goals, values, and strengths.  Interest in cognitive behavioral treatments.

Education

Masters in Counseling (Child/Adolescent track), Marquette University.

Bachelors Degree in Psychology, University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Experience

Individual, family, and group therapy at Affiliated Clinical Services. Individual therapy in middle and high school setting, group work with incarcerated youth and adults, in-home behavior management with young children and parents, and individual and family therapy in a local nonprofit setting.  Previous experience working with youth and parents in a runaway, homeless youth shelter in Milwaukee.
